Today I tried a pillow again, because the last looked a bit hard and thin.
This time I rendered it in 3ds max. My first rendered object in this program. I am very satisfied with the result, but even though I will do my best to improve with the lighting and the materials.
I prepared a few steps for you, but I won't comment it a lot, because unfortunately it takes too much time to write a good and helpful tutorial. Furthermore I am still a beginner (°-°;)
Creating two planes (with Garment-Maker modifier)
Adding a Cloth modifier, linking the edges of the planes and creating the pillow
Adding a normal map for more material information and finally placing the lights
The result (｡◕‿◕｡)
The 2nd version with a more beautiful ground texture
It was really fun to model the pillow and to build a little szene with the lights.
I intend to upload more 3D works in the future. =)
This is a short practice I did today and yesterday, for warming up again in 3Ds-max.
The fire in the background of the sword was added in Photoshop and the pillows are just screenshotted in 3ds max.. ; )
